This retiring thing is paying off for Bill! He played in the Golf Channel tournament last weekend at Riverside and won the whole kit and kaboodle. He was extremely proud of his effort but was kicking himself for not having strong putting on the back nine. He did get closest to the pin so he won a little money; but, he is going to have to make a whole lot more to pay for his golf habit.
This win will keep him competitive and assist in his desire to practice and continue to play. The light at the end of the tunnel---a perfect game, a hole in one, and getting that damn gopher chewing up the golf course. Every one has to have a goal.
